Development Milestones


ECOFES LLC was established in 1990.

The company's staff consisted of employees of the Department of Water Management of Enterprises and Municipalities of the Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI).

The Company was headed by Lev Fesenko, Head of the Department of Water Management of Enterprises and Municipalities, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. At the time of ECOFES LLC establishment, he had over 20 years of experience in electrochemistry and water purification.


1990
ECOFES LLC is established.
1991
Commissioning of CHLOREFS Electrolysis Units during the transition from liquid chlorine to sodium hypochlorite.
1995
Fifty CHLOREFS electrolysis units are put into operation at municipal utility facilities of the Russian Federation.
2003
Design and Cost Estimating Departments are established to design plants and units for the on-site production of sodium hypochlorite using CHLOREFS Electrolysis Units.
2007
The company begins a series of projects involving the design, manufacture, and commissioning of equipment for the OSV-1 Electrolysis Plant with a capacity of 1,000 kg/day in terms of available chlorine (as Cl₂) in Rostov-on-Don.
2008
Ceremonial opening of the Central OSV-1 Electrolysis Plant in Rostov-on-Don.
2009
The Company launches its own production facility for the manufacture and quality control of MMO-coated anodes for electrolysis units.
2010
ECOFES LLC begins a complex of works on the design, manufacture, and commissioning of equipment for an electrolysis plant for the on-site production of sodium hypochlorite, with a capacity of 7 tons per day in terms of available chlorine (as Cl₂), at the Aleksandrovsky Water Treatment Facil...
2011
Due to the expansion of the range of work, the company ECOFES-Engineering LLC is established. Its purpose is to build new water treatment facilities and reconstruct existing ones.
2015
The largest plant in the Russian Federation for the on-site production of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant with a total capacity of 7 tons per day in terms of available chlorine (as Cl₂), is launched in the Rostov region at the Aleksandrovsky Water Treatment Facilities of Rostovvodokanal JSC...
2023
